  1. What is it: It is an alternative for laser hair removal and works by inhibiting hair formation using a coherent light technology. The effects are about 70% hair reduction in the first treatment and about 50% for every treatment after. Powerful enough to target and treat even the most stubborn hair, optimal results, and maximal safety. Unlike laser treatments, TCW hair removal is much less painful, faster to perform, less costly, and long-lasting results* Results vary depending on hormonal changes, hair follicle restoration, age, among other factors.

Frequently asked questions

Who are Candidates

The short answer is most people, regardless of gender, race, language, origen, etc. A consultation and skin evaluation are required to ensure optimal results.

Note: We do welcome all communities equally.

Is it painless?

TCW has a built-in skin cooling surface; this makes treatment more comfortable than lasers or waxing, or shaving irritations. TCW is virtually painless.

What areas can treat?

TCW is safe for most areas of the body. Commonly treated areas include bikini lines, legs, arms, chest, back, shoulders, stomach, neck, chin, and sideburns.

IS IT WORTH GETTING TCW HAIR REMOVAL?

We think so. TCW hair removal will save you money and time in the long run.

HOW PERMANENT IS TCW HAIR REMOVAL?

The length of your results is related to your particular skin, hormones among other factors. Multiple treatments are required to provide long-lasting results. Hair grows in three phases: new growth, regression, or resting. Like laser hair removal, TCW treatment only affects hair in the new growth phase. A consultation will help you better understand laser treatment and the results the treatment achieves.

IS IT BETTER TO WAX OR LASER HAIR REMOVAL?

Whether you should wax or pursue TCW hair removal will depend on your skin, the rate at which your hair grows, your health, and comfort. Some people enjoy wax treatments and treat it like a spa day. However, TCW hair removal will help you save money in the long term. To learn more about TCW hair removal and if it is your best hair removal solution, schedule a consultation with us today.

HOW LONG DOES TCW SESSION TAKE?

TCW will destroy hair follicles immediately, but the length of your appointment varies. For example, small areas like the lip may take under a minute to treat; the legs will take about an hour.

DOES TCW HAIR REMOVAL LAST FOREVER?

TCW Hair removal is a long-lasting solution. However, results vary depending on hormonal changes, hair follicle restoration, age, among other factors.

WILL HAIR BUMPS AND RAZOR BUMPS BE GONE?

Similar to laser, reduction of hair bumps and ingrown hairs are significant. We have seen this on all body parts, including face, neck, bikini line, legs, backs, and underarms.

CAN BLONDE, GRAY, OR LIGHT HAIR BE REMOVED?

Lighter hair is complicated to treat. TCW targets the pigment in the hair and destroys hair growth. Dark-haired clients with fair skin are the easiest clients to treat, but we would love to see you for a free consultation to let you know if you are a good candidate.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Prices vary per area and number of sessions. In general, TCW is less expensive than traditional laser and waxing. A single session is about the same price as waxing. We do not offer packages as results vary greatly; we have seen 90% hair reduction with a single session. Consultation and patch test $70. If procedure is booked, consultation fee is applied towards the service cost.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE SESSION?

Most clients report mild redness and sensitivity for up to 24 hours. In rare cases, follicle inflammation is reported. Hair falling is expected in the following four weeks
